The import of the complete data from the original picture is the first step of the reproduction service. By using a wide-width scanner we can scan a picture that contains a few hundred million pixels. We are able to reproduce a fine art work the size of which can be as large as 160cm x 300cm(@300dpi). The color details of the original picture will be minutely reproduced without any fault.

The high-quality Epson large format Printer employed by us is good in that at a precision rate of 1440dpi human eyes cannot see any web dot even with a magnifier of 10 times magnification and that the color gradation achieved by Epson is far better than that of the traditional collotype version. The UltraChrom ink we use, giving a large and wide color space and desirable color stability for 70-80 years long. The black color used with Epson Pinter has three shades known as B/LB/LLB (black, light black and light light black) which goes well with the shades of the black color on traditional Chinese paintings. Matter Black as it is called is a special black color which well matches the burn black effect shown on rice paper. The light light black color on the other hand can demonstrate the light grey color.
Materials for printing can be canvas, rice paper, acid-free fine art paper. Printing can also be done on the traditional Chinese Painting silk material, which is of course more job-demanding.
Years of practice and research have given us an experienced color management team. Scanning done by the machine may have imperfections that needs improvement by human eyes. Our color-management technicians are in place to make necessary adjustment to ensure a reproduction should look exact the same as the original.
